Graze Tech planting guidance in the field

At Graze Tech Fodder Solutions, we don’t just sell seed. We deliver feed security for Zimbabwean farmers — before the drought comes, during the dry spell, and after the rains.

We are based at 54 Clyde Road, Eastlea, Harare and we serve farmers across all provinces in Zimbabwe. We also export certified pasture seed to our neighbours.

Why we started Graze Tech

Zimbabwean farmers have carried too much for too long. Four years of erratic rains. Veld that dries in July. Feed that disappears in winter. And now, El Niño is predicted again.

We got tired of seeing farmers lose livestock, milk, and money because they didn’t have the right pasture or a plan.

So we built Graze Tech to be different.

Our mission is simple: help every farmer plant once, and harvest for 5+ years. Even when the rains fail.

The Graze Tech way: Seed + support + security

Other companies sell you a bag and disappear. We walk with you from soil to 3rd cut.

1. Quality first

Lab-tested, certified seed. 80% germination. 97% purity. Drought-tolerant varieties like Katambora Rhodes, Bana grass, Super Napier and Lucerne that survive when the veld crashes.

2. Free agronomy support

This is where Shamwari yemurimi comes in. Seed without a soil test is a gamble. We start in your paddock, then stay until the pasture is paying.

  • Free site visit — we test your soil and water (pH, fertility, what will germinate on your land)
  • Tailored planting plan — right seed, right rate, right time for the rain season
  • On-farm planting demo — we come to your farm and plant with you
  • 12 months WhatsApp support — questions, pests, fertiliser, cutting times, through the 3rd cut. We’re there.

3. Feed security for all seasons

  • Rain season — establish pastures that last
  • Winter — dust-free Katambora and Reclaimer hay bales in stock
  • Drought / El Niño — fodder planning, Masese, molasses and salt blocks to keep animals alive

The 2025/2026 forecast

El Niño ready. Are you?

The 2025/2026 season forecasts show another El Niño drought — less rain, a shorter growing season, and expensive feed. This is not the year to gamble.

Planting Katambora Rhodes now means:

1. Deep rootsIn before drought hits
2. 9–25 tHay per hectare, even with poor rains
3. 5+ yearsFeed from one Katambora planting

Don’t wait for the crisis. Prepare now with Graze Tech.

Proof in the paddock

We don’t use stock photos. Every picture on this site is a real Graze Tech field, real seed bag, real bale planted by farmers we support.
